To date the Development Committee has received $104,500 in donations for the Water Feature project, $20,000 for the Bridge project, $1000.00 for education and $1000.00 for donor recognition signage. Corporate Sponsorship has just begun and we have received good support from those contacted.
We wish to recognize and thank the Rotary Clubs of Prince George for the Rotary Pavilion donated to UNBC which will enhance the Educational Display Garden. They also provided equipment and labour to groom the pavilion area.

Thank you as well to our membership for their ongoing financial support and volunteer effort.
On October 5, 2009 Mary Jago presented to City Council a request for $30,000 out of this year’s budget as well as ongoing annual support of $10,000. We will be hearing back from them shortly.
The plan of the ‘Garden Design Committee’ is to spend the winter months preparing the engineered design and arranging the materials for construction of the Bridge, Water Feature & Access Paths in the spring of 2010.
Fundraising is an ongoing endeavor for the Society and volunteers and ideas are always gratefully accepted. If you would like to volunteer, or have ideas for future fundraising activities please contact Birthe Miller (250-964-6454).
